History Structure: The Police Outpost at Tanay Plaza was located at the entrance gate of the historical church of Tanay. It was built under the administration of Mayor Teodulo Q. Beside the Outpost, there is a siren donated by Tanay Club in America in 1968, this siren was used as a warning for every Tanayan to stay at home, once the siren began to ring that means its curfew time.
Stories: The violators of the curfew hour are detained inside the prison area of Tanay Police Outpost. They spent their night inside the prison area and wait until morning for the dismissal. There are rumors that some Tanayans who violate the curfew hour during Martial Law are detained inside the jail.
