Ms. Jesuitas also mentioned that, if more people know or are familiar with the song for the Patron Saint, he is happy while singing the hymn and also when he sees that a lot of people in the Church are singing it.

Description: The lyrics of Himno Para Kay San Ildefonso were copied in the old Nobenaryo or Aklat Dasalan of San Ildefonso around the 1970s to 1980s when Maestro Ed Custodio arranged it. The song was based on the highlights of the life of San Ildefonso on how he was devoted to the Virgin Mary. It was sung every 9 days before the town fiesta in Tanay, to honor and praise the Patron Saint of Tanay. When Maestro Ed Custodio arranged it, he taught it to his band and the band taught it to the choir and now it is being sung every year. They made Himno Para Kay San Ildefonso because of their strong devotion to San Ildefonso de Toledo. From January 14 to 22 there are street masses held in the 9 barangays in the poblaciĆ³n area, they hold streets for those people who are not able to attend the mass in the Church. On the exact feast day (January 23) of the San Ildefonso de Toledo the six masses are held inside the church, the Himno Para Kay San Ildefonso was the recessional or final song during the mass. On November 3 to 11 at 6:00 pm the Himno Para Kay San Ildefonso was being sung during the foundation day of the San Ildefonso de Toledo Parish Church to celebrate the anniversary of the Church; it was being sung after the mass to pay tribute to the Patron Saint.
